LED white light.....

When LED technology first came into picture...the three major colors that were invented for LED lighting were red, blue and green. mostly used for signage, traffic signals....it is not commonly known that the white light of the LED's is actually a combination or color mixing of the three primary colors red, blue and green......

LED's as we know are light emitting diodes and are pretty small in color....the light is focussed inone direction. In order to distribute the light in all directions a lens is place on top of the diode.

Lately the white color LED's are obtained by using a blue LED and coating its lens with phosphorus. The blue rays hit the phosphorus and the combination comes out as white light seen by the human eye.
